Deepak has a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years across the pharmaceuticals, chemicals, packaging, and industrial sectors.

In his recent roles, Deepak has held leadership positions at Acquizon Advisory and Ladderup, where he focused on mid-market M&A activities. Additionally, he has gained valuable experience working at the CXO level in a large chemical company.

Previously, as Director of the India office at Lazard for more than 6 years, Deepak advised on transactions worth over USD 5bn. These transactions involved prominent corporations such as the Tata Group and Birla Group from India, as well as global players like Panasonic and Unilever. Notably, Deepak’s strategic involvement with several clients led to multiple successful transactions over the course of many years.

Before his tenure at Lazard, Deepak held positions at HSBC and Rabo where, along with M&A endeavours, he also gained expertise in capital markets transactions, tender offers, delisting offers, buybacks, and IPOs.

Deepak holds a Chartered Accountant qualification and is a commerce graduate from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce.
