Bhaskar Borkar is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary. A qualified Resolution Professional under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Bhaskar has more than 30 years of experience with large, listed entities across diverse sectors such as building products, real estate, automotive, specialty chemicals, IT, and FMCG.
He is Founder & Mentor of CFOCORP, a professional firm that provides consulting services for performance improvement, fund raising through banks and capital markets, financial and operational restructuring, viability studies, settlement with lenders, and all other CFO services.
As CFO for more than 29 years in listed companies such as Nitco Ltd & JF Laboratories Ltd, Bhaskar was involved with:
- Raising funds from banks, financial institutions and capital market (IPO and QIP issuances).
- Operational and financial restructuring of businesses, corporate development and supply chain.
- Accounts, tax, secretarial & legal, internal audit, SAP, MIS, project finance, M&A, investor relations, and others.
Bhaskar began his career with the Mahindra Group where he worked for 6 years in numerous functions including corporate accounts, MIS, exports, new projects, and others in India and Europe. In his last assignment for the Mahindra Group, he worked as Finance Manager and Company Secretary at Mahindra British Telecom Ltd (now Tech Mahindra).
