Mr. Prakash Nene joined on the Board of Singhi Advisors in July 2014. Prakash brings with him over 3 decades of wealthy experience in corporate strategy, corporate finance, fund raising, portfolio monitoring, M&A, corporate restructuring and managing several exits from listed and unlisted companies. He has personally got involved in over 220 mergers, capital restructuring, acquisitions and most complicated structures dealing with courts, legal firms, global firms and corporate. Currently he serves as Managing Director at Multiples Private Equity, a fund promoted by Mrs Renuka Ramnath. Prior to joining Multiples, Prakash was the Group Director at Bharti Enterprises where he led the real estate and software services business. He was Bharti’s representative on several JV’s in financial services and agriculture sectors. Prakash also had a brief stint at ICICI Venture where he was responsible for monitoring and reviewing operations of buyout companies, besides being part of the Investment Committee. Previous to this, he served as Group CFO & Head of Operations for USD 2 bn Jumbo group( Shaw Wallace group) thru Jumbo World Holdings Ltd, Dubai for around a decade. Prakash in an Engineer from BITS Pilani and an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
